Legal

Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern access to and use of the Coupon List Lite Shopify app.

Effective and last updated: July 29, 2026

1. Agreement and provider

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) form an agreement between the person or business using Coupon List Lite (“Merchant,” “you,” or “your”) and the person or legal entity identified as the App's developer in its Shopify App Store listing (“Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operating under the MerchWeave brand.

You confirm that you are legally able to enter this agreement and, if acting for a business, have authority to bind that business.

2. The App

Coupon List Lite lets authorized merchants select eligible active Shopify discount codes, configure how offers appear, display those offers through a theme app embed, and let store visitors attempt to apply a selected code to their Shopify cart.

We may improve, modify, limit, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, platform compatibility, or product operation. We will provide notice of material adverse changes when reasonably practicable or legally required.

3. Shopify and third-party services

The App depends on Shopify accounts, APIs, billing, themes, storefront behavior, and other services outside our control. Your use of Shopify remains governed by your agreements with Shopify. Shopify is not a party to these Terms and does not sponsor or guarantee the App.

Changes, outages, restrictions, or errors in Shopify, a theme, another app, a browser, or a network can affect the App. We are not responsible for third-party services, but we will use reasonable efforts to maintain compatibility within the App's supported scope.

4. Merchant responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • keeping your Shopify account and authorized-user access secure;
  • providing accurate settings and ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed for all text and offers you publish;
  • configuring discount eligibility, dates, conditions, combinations, inventory, and other Shopify rules correctly;
  • testing the App, theme embed, selected discounts, cart behavior, and checkout flow before and after publishing theme or store changes;
  • complying with advertising, consumer-protection, pricing, tax, accessibility, privacy, and other laws applicable to your store; and
  • maintaining any notices, terms, records, and internal controls your promotions require.

Selected codes are displayed to store visitors. Do not select confidential, customer-specific, administrative, test, single-use, or otherwise restricted codes unless public display is intentional and lawful.

5. Fees, plans, and cancellation

Any price, billing interval, trial, and recurring charge will be shown through Shopify before approval. App charges are processed through Shopify App Pricing or Shopify's billing system. You authorize approved charges to your Shopify account and remain responsible for applicable taxes.

You can manage or cancel the App through Shopify. Except where applicable law, the approved plan, or Shopify's rules require otherwise, charges already incurred are non-refundable.

6. License and ownership

Subject to these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the App for your own Shopify business during the subscription or permitted use period.

The App, its software, design, documentation, branding, and related intellectual property remain owned by the Provider or its licensors. You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us only the limited rights needed to process that content to operate and support the App.

7. Acceptable use

You must not, and must not help anyone else to:

  • use the App unlawfully, deceptively, or to harm another person;
  • interfere with, overload, probe, or bypass the App's security or access controls;
  • reverse engineer, copy, resell, sublicense, or create derivative services from the App except where law expressly permits it;
  • introduce malware, automated abuse, or unauthorized access; or
  • use the App in a way that violates Shopify's terms or the rights of others.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the App available and useful, but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or 24/7 operation or support. We may perform maintenance and may suspend access when reasonably necessary to address security, misuse, legal, billing, or platform issues.

Support scope and contact details are published on the Support page. Custom development and third-party troubleshooting are not included unless agreed separately in writing.

9. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage.

We do not guarantee that a discount will be eligible, successfully apply, combine with other discounts, increase sales or conversion, or work with every theme, app, device, browser, market, or Shopify change. You are responsible for verifying promotion results and checkout behavior. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither the Provider nor its affiliates, personnel, or suppliers will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, data, or anticipated savings, arising from or related to the App—even if advised that such loss was possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising from or related to the App or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid for the App during the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim or (b) USD 100. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Provider and its affiliates and personnel from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your store, promotions, content, unlawful or unauthorized use of the App, or material breach of these Terms. This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from our own breach, gross negligence, or willful misconduct.

12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay approved charges, create a security or legal risk, or if Shopify restricts or ends the App's access. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to cure.

Terms that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute provisions—will survive.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the App, Shopify's platform, law, or our operations. We will post the revised Terms with a new effective date and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree, you must stop using and uninstall the App.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Provider is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts located in that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives you rights to another forum. Before filing a claim, each party will make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the dispute by written notice.

15. General terms

If any provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a reorganization, financing, merger, or transfer of the App business. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan terms shown through Shopify, are the entire agreement about the App.
